withme,scatters.12.31ThereforeItellyou,everysinandblasphemy
willbeforgivenmen,buttheblasphemyagainsttheSpiritwillnot
beforgivenmen.12.32WhoeverspeaksawordagainsttheSonofMan,
itwillbeforgivenhim;butwhoeverspeaksagainsttheHolySpirit,
itwillnotbeforgivenhim,neitherinthisage,norinthatwhich
istocome.
12.33“Eithermakethetreegood,anditsfruitgood,ormakethetree
corrupt,anditsfruitcorrupt;forthetreeisknownbyitsfruit.12.34You
offspringofvipers,howcanyou,beingevil,speakgoodthings?For
outoftheabundanceoftheheart,themouthspeaks.12.35Thegoodman
outofhisgoodtreasurebringsoutgoodthings,andtheevilmanout
ofhiseviltreasure[TRadds“oftheheart”]bringsoutevilthings.12.36
Itellyouthateveryidlewordthatmenspeak,theywillgiveaccount
ofitinthedayofjudgment.12.37Forbyyourwordsyouwill
bejustified,andbyyourwordsyouwillbecondemned.”
12.38ThencertainofthescribesandPhariseesanswered,“Teacher,
wewanttoseeasignfromyou.”
12.39Butheansweredthem,“Anevilandadulterousgenerationseeks
afterasign,butnosignwillbegiventoitbutthesignofJonahthe
