ishere.12.42Thequeenofthesouthwillriseupinthejudgmentwith
thisgeneration,andwillcondemnit,forshecamefromtheendsofthe
earthtohearthewisdomofSolomon;andbehold,someonegreater
thanSolomonishere.
12.43Whenanuncleanspirithasgoneoutofaman,hepassesthrough
waterlessplaces,seekingrest,anddoesn’tfindit.12.44Thenhesays,
‘IwillreturnintomyhousefromwhichIcameout,’andwhenhehas
comeback,hefindsitempty,swept,andputinorder.12.45Then
hegoes,andtakeswithhimselfsevenotherspiritsmoreevilthanheis,
andtheyenterinanddwellthere.Thelaststateofthatmanbecomes
worsethanthefirst.Evensowillitbealsotothisevilgeneration.”
12.46Whilehewasyetspeakingtothemultitudes,behold,hismother
andhisbrothersstoodoutside,seekingtospeaktohim.12.47Onesaid
tohim,“Behold,yourmotherandyourbrothersstandoutside,seeking
tospeaktoyou.”
12.48Butheansweredhimwhospoketohim,“Whoismymother?Who
aremybrothers?”12.49Hestretchedouthishandtowardshisdisciples,
andsaid,“Behold,mymotherandmybrothers!12.50Forwhoeverdoes
thewillofmyFatherwhoisinheaven,heismybrother,andsister,
andmother.”

13.1OnthatdayJesuswentoutofthehouse,andsatbytheseaside.13.2
Greatmultitudesgatheredtohim,sothatheenteredintoaboat,and
sat,andallthemultitudestoodonthebeach.13.3Hespoketothem
manythingsinparables,saying,“Behold,afarmerwentouttosow.13.4
Ashesowed,someseedsfellbytheroadside,andthebirdscameand
devouredthem.13.5Othersfellonrockyground,wheretheydidn’thave
muchsoil,andimmediatelytheysprangup,becausetheyhadnodepth
ofearth.13.6Whenthesunhadrisen,theywerescorched.Becausethey
hadnoroot,theywitheredaway.13.7Othersfellamongthorns.The
thornsgrewupandchokedthem.13.8Othersfellongoodsoil,and
yieldedfruit:someonehundredtimesasmuch,somesixty,andsome
thirty.13.9Hewhohasearstohear,lethimhear.”
13.10Thedisciplescame,andsaidtohim,“Whydoyouspeaktothem
inparables?”
13.11Heansweredthem,“Toyouitisgiventoknowthemysteries
