20.32Jesusstoodstill,andcalledthem,andasked,“Whatdoyouwant
metodoforyou?”
20.33Theytoldhim,“Lord,thatoureyesmaybeopened.”
20.34Jesus,beingmovedwithcompassion,touchedtheireyes;and
immediatelytheireyesreceivedtheirsight,andtheyfollowedhim.

21.1WhentheycameneartoJerusalem,andcametoBethsphage,
[TR&NUread“Bethphage”insteadof“Bethsphage”]totheMount
ofOlives,thenJesussenttwodisciples,21.2sayingtothem,“Gointo
thevillagethatisoppositeyou,andimmediatelyyouwillfind
adonkeytied,andacoltwithher.Untiethem,andbringthemtome.
21.3Ifanyonesaysanythingtoyou,youshallsay,‘TheLordneeds
them,’andimmediatelyhewillsendthem.”
21.4Allthiswasdone,thatitmightbefulfilledwhichwasspoken
throughtheprophet,saying,
21.5“TellthedaughterofZion,
behold,yourKingcomestoyou,
humble,andridingonadonkey,
onacolt,thefoalofadonkey.”
21.6Thediscipleswent,anddidjustasJesuscommandedthem,21.7and
broughtthedonkeyandthecolt,andlaidtheirclothesonthem;and
hesatonthem.21.8Averygreatmultitudespreadtheirclothesonthe
road.Otherscutbranchesfromthetrees,andspreadthemontheroad.
21.9Themultitudeswhowentinfrontofhim,andthosewhofollowed,
keptshouting,“Hosanna[“Hosanna”means“saveus”or“helpus,
wepray”.]tothesonofDavid!Blessedishewhocomesinthename
oftheLord!Hosannainthehighest!”
21.10WhenhehadcomeintoJerusalem,allthecitywasstirredup,
saying,“Whoisthis?”21.11Themultitudessaid,“Thisistheprophet,
Jesus,fromNazarethofGalilee.”
