constituteanimportantelementinthelocallandscape,theyconfirmgrass
rootscitizenmovementstowardsestablishingassociationsforthedisabled.
Thelackofsuchassociationsmayseemintriguingfortheresearchersand
theinvolvedpeoplethemselves.Variousrelations,networksanddependen-
ciescanbenoticedbetweentherepresentativesoftheseaidinginstitutions
andnon-governmentorganizations.Thisisaspacewhichmightgeneratethe
threatofsocialexclusion,stigmatization,marginalizationofneeds(bothatthe
individuallevelandinreferencetothewholefamily).Ontheotherhand,itis
aspaceofchancesforchange–achangeinunderstandingtheconstructionof
reality,thechancestofulfilindividualneedsandchancesforself-fulfilmentof
thedisabled.
ThecurrentissuesubmittedtotheReaderscomprisesafewarticlesof
