Theaccountingsystemprimarilyprovidesinformationtoexternaluserswho

areoftenreferredtoasstakeholders.Theseincludebothtraditionallyunderstood

investors,aswellassuppliersandrecipients,localcommunitiesrepresentedby

localgovernmentsoremployees.Dependingonthenatureoftherelationship

withtheunit,stakeholdershavedifferentinformationneeds.

Externaluserscanbedividedintocapitalinvolvedinandengagedforinfor-

mation.Entitiesthatareinvolvedcapitalare:

-ownersandtheirrepresentatives,

-otherentitiesthathaveprovidedcapitaltothecompany.

Usersinvolvedforinformationneedreportsonthecompanytoruntheirown

business,controlormanagethestate.Usersofthesecanbedividedinto:public

authorities,agencies,other.

Investorswhohaveentrustedtheircapitaltoanenterpriseareinterestedin

informationthatwillallowthemtoassesstheriskandopportunitiestoobtain
