metaphoricalmeaning.

Acompleteconspectusofthevarioustypesofsourcematerialswill

permitustotracealltheinformationrelatedtotheissueandthento

verifyandanalyzeitandﬁnallytoreachtheactualMuslim

conceptionoftheworld.Thatwouldprovideasecurerbasefrom

whichtoapproachthequestionoftheoriginofIslamicgeographyas
