1991,whenthethenpresidents:Polish-LechWałęsa,Czechoslovakian-Václav

Havel,andtheHungarianPrimeMinisterJózsefAntallenteredintoanagreement

deﬁningcooperation’sobjectivesandterms.Sinceitsestablishment,theVisegrad

Grouphassucceededinimplementinganumberofprojects,twoofwhichwereits

priorities,namelytheaccessionoftheMemberStatestoNATOandtotheEuropean

Union.However,newproblemsandchallengesareconstantlyemerging,whichmust

betacklednotonlybyindividualV4countries,butalsobytheGroupasawhole.

Teyconcern,amongothers,economicandsocialissues,sustainabledevelopment

andenvironmentalprotection,transportandenergy,internalandexternalsecurity.

Recently,suchproblemsasecologicaltransformation,digitalization,rebuilding

economiesafertheCOVID-19pandemic,corruptionanddisinformationhave

gainedimportance.

Tiscollectivemonographisanattempttodiagnoseandreinterpretselectedissues

relatingtotheVisegradGroupanditsmemberstates.Tevolumeconsistsofanalyses

ofpracticalandtheoreticalaspectsofcontemporarynationalpoliciesandregional

cooperation.Teintentionoftheauthorsrepresentingvariousresearchcentersfrom

Poland,theCzechRepublic,Slovakia,Hungary,UkraineandtheNetherlandswas

topresentthemostimportant,intheiropinion,mattersconcerningtheVisegrad
