study).ThondescribedtheunconventionalwayofteachingofUri-WolfSalat,

amethodthathelpedThontobecomeanindependentthinkerandaTalmudic

scholar.34Uri-WolfSalatwastheonetogiveThonthefirstordinationas

aRabbiwhenhewassixteen,ithadaprivatecharacter,butThonalways

appreciateditmorethanhisformalordinationinBerlin.35Salatwasoneof

themostfamousJewishscholarsinLwówandthefactthatheinvestedso

muchtimeandcareforyoungThonshowshowpromisingwasthebrilliant

contributedalottohisfuture.Salatinvestedmuchtimeintheeducation

oftheyoungboyandindoingsoencouragedThonwhothenwasnotyet
