Tearticlepresentstheresultsofanalyzesofvisualrepresentationsappearing
intheoppositioniconographyoftheeightiesofthetwentiethcentury.Using
theoreticalframeworkof“timelayers”proposedbyReinhartKosellecka,the
authorpresentstheirthreedimensions(past,present,future),whichwerere-
flectedintheposters.Teconflictbetweentheanti-communistopposition
andthePolishUnitedWorkers)Partyhasalsobeenreflectedintheicono-
graphyofthetime,whoseanalysisshowsthesubjugationoftheworkofthe
present,andconsequentlynarrowingtheprospectsforthefutureandthese-
lectivetreatmentofthepast.
