Theconclusiontotheresearch,analysis,andtheoreticaloverviewisasubli-
mationhoweverpretentiousthetermofrecommendationsforinstitutionsand
conclusionsconcerningthesociety.Thissomewhatantiquatedphrasingismeant
tocommunicatethattheconclusionofthestudyisanintensificationofsocial
educationinthefieldofhomelessnessandthehomeless,whoseaimistochange
theimageofhomelessness.
However,thestudyanditsconclusionsarenotlimitedintheirscopeonlytothe
waysofaffectingthequalityofinformationaboutsocialproblemsofthehomeless,
butencompassallproblemsofmarginalisationandexclusion,becausetoday,every
socialproblemisevidentlynegativelyperceivedbythesociety.Fromitsperspec-
tive,exclusion,learnedhelplessness,“learnedcunning”isfirstofalltheproblem
andthefaultofthehomeless,theexcluded,andthemarginalised,andthesociety
shoulddissociateitselffromthem.Thebestexemplificationofthisisfoundinthe
appliedquestiononthecriminalisationofhomelessness(vagrancy).Theresultsof
theintroductionofthisquestiontothesurveyspeakvolumes.
Animportant,ifnotthemostimportantaspectofthematerialpresentedisthe
factthatthemediainfluencestheformationofattitudesandopinions.Forabroad
sectionofsociety,knowledgeofsocialproblemsinthestreetsoftheircitiesisvery
oftenmediatedthroughdistortedmediamessagesontheTVscreen,theInternet,
socialmediaallthemoresobecause,whetherwelikeitornot,socialmediatoday
haveadominantpositionallovertheworld,notonlyinopinion-forming,butalso
incensoringcontentaccordingtotheirpolitics.Therefore,itisveryimportant
thathumaninjustice,marginalisation,andexclusionarepublicised,explained,
andclarifiedthroughvariouscommunicationchannelsandmediaofallkinds.
Thestudyalsoemphasisestoagreatdegreetheextenttowhichgossipplays
apartinsocialrelationsfromasociologicalpointofview,anelementofinfor-
mationoftentreatedasknowledge.Itisthatpartofsocialinteractionwhich,inan
unforced,informalway,carriesthegreatestburdenofresponsibilityforthecon-
structionofattitudesandopinions.Itisinthecourseofcontactbasedonstate-
mentssuchasIsaw…,Iheard…,didyouknow...?thatsocialperceptionoftheworld
isformed.
Thepresentpublicationnotonlyattemptstoshowhowthingsare,butalso
presentsanempiricalandtheoreticalaccountofthesignificanceofsocialsolidar-
ity,reciprocity,andunderstanding,inwhichtheprimaryandmostimportanttask
isnottobeindifferent.
