Amongthegeneralobjectivesofeducationforsafety,whichconcerntheentire
educationsystemanddeterminethefundamentaldirectionsofitsfunctioning,
threecanbeincluded:
shapingthehierarchyofvalues,attitudes,aswellastheemotionalcon-
nectionofsocietywithdefensetasks,whichincludethreatstothenatural
environment,war,orthreatsresultingfromthedevelopmentofcivilization;
adaptationofsocietyasawholeaswellasindividualinstitutionsto
practicalactivitywiththesupportoflegalstructuresandmechanisms;the
taskistoactefectively,preventandeliminatenotonlymilitarythreats,
butalsoinpeacetime;
preparingthesocietyforself-defenseincircumstancesthatthreaten
security.
Tesegoalsinvolveservice,institutionsandorganizationsaswellaspeople
associatedwithdefenseissues,andadaptallactivitiesinthisareatoincludethe
entirecommunity

Teoveralltaskofeducationforsafetyistodealwiththreatsinpeacetime
andtoprepareforidentifyingthreatsanddealingwiththedangersofeverydaylife.
Tisisoneofthebasiceducationalelementsofeducationalinstitutions,be-
causeitisprimarilytheschoolpreparingyounggenerationstocopewithadultlife,
whichisnotassafeastheworldofchildren,wheretheresponsibilityofparents,
educatorsorcarersistoensuresafety.
Alongwiththedevelopmentofcivilization,industrialization,urbanization,
technolizationandcomputerization,theimportanceofeducationforsecurityin-
creases.Tiswasforcedbyachangeofthinkingaboutaman,abouthisvocationas
wellasmethodsofacting.Alsoimportantareenvironmentalarguments,progressive
economicgrowth,technologicalprogressandthenecessarysustainableeconomic
growth.Ofkeyimportancearealsosuchneedsas:humandignityandfreedom,
compliancewiththelawandensuringindividualismanduniversalwell-being

Educationforsecurityisamultifaceted,multidimensionalandinterdisci-
plinarydimension.Itreferstothethreemostimportantaspectsofsecurity:the
firstahumanbeingequippedwithacharacteristicsystemofvaluesandsocial
normsthatrelatetorulesrelatedtoindividualsecurity.Tesecondthesafetyof
agroupofpeoplewhowanttofeelsafeinallpossibleinterpersonalrelations.Te
thirdstatesecurityaswellasinternationalformalstructures.
Outlineofgoalsandtasksofeducationforsafetywasalsoincludedinthe
nationalsecuritystrategyoftheRepublicofPoland.InchapterIII,regardingthe
conceptofstrategicactivities.Teoperationalstrategyisrecordedthat“Education
forsecurityincludesactivitiesaimedatacquiringbycitizenstheknowledgeand
