TheSocietas–CEECompanyLawResearchNetworkisaprivate,non-polit-
ical,non-profit,volunteer,collaborativeorganisation,promotingandfacili-
tatinglegalresearchintobusinesslawandcompanylawwithaspecialfo-
cusonCentralandEasternEurope(CEE).Itencouragescollaborationamong
lawyersandacademicsindiferentcountries,aswellastheexchangeofin-
formationonsources,publicationsandpractice,andstrivestocontribute
tothedevelopmentofEuropeanCompanyLawandComparativeCompany
Law.TheNetwork’saimistopromotethestudyofCompanyLawinnation-
alandinternationaleducationalandresearchinstitutions.Currently,SOCI-
ETASmembersrepresent8countries(Poland,Hungary,Romania,Czechia,
Austria,Lithuania,Slovakia,Bulgaria).

producesresearchacrossawiderangeofsubjectsinHumanities,SocialSci-

attheUniversityofGdanskhasbeenconsistentlyrankedwithintop5law
facultiesinPoland.
