naturalsciencesandincreasingindustrialproductivenessbecometoalargerandlarger
extentoppressivetotheenvironment.Moreover,thescientificresearchandeducational
processeshavebecomeinandofthemselvesasourceofveryhazardouswastes.Incon-
sequenceaseriousecologicalproblemhasarisencallingforcentralregulatorydecisions
tobetaken.
Purchase,managementanduseofchemicalreagentsaswellasthewasterecovery
anddisposalareregulatedbynumerouslegalacts.Despitethefactualknowledge

(research,academic,schoolsandthelike)thatconducttheactivitiesinvolvingacontact
withchemicals.
Afullpathwayfollowedbyareagentfromamomentofpurchase,throughstoring,giving
over,handlingandusingattheworkplace,collectingwaste,transferringtorecoveryand
disposalhasbeentracedtakingintoaccounttheEuropeanUnionandPolishlegislations.
