Inthe“Educationoftomorrow,”thespecificrolesestablishedandimple-
mented,thoughofenhidden,areplayedbytheteacherasaperson.Tereis
aneedtoclearlyemphasizethetermroleplaying,becausetooofenisalso
usedinrelationtotheschoolintermsofmetaphor.Discussionontheideal-
izationorcriticismofmetaphoricalrelatingtorolesoftheteacherisimpor-
tantandmeaningful,becauseineducationpractice,seldomdoteachershave
innovativeandcreativeattitudes.TisisbecauseasFrenchsociologistAlain
Touraineconvinces:“theresultofthisprocess(aimedattheendofthesociety)
istoreceivecontentandmeaningoftheinstitutionsofmodernsociety,orga-
nizedinnation-states.Eveniftherearepoliticalparties,tradeunions,public
institutions,theyplaylessandlessofaroleinmakingsenseofhumanlife
andthecoordinationofindividualsandgroups.Teybecomesimplypoints
providingservicestothepublic,moreofen,onacommercialbasis.Tepopu-
lationinthefaceofsochanginginstitutionsistransformedintoconsumer,
individualizationprogresses.”5
IssuesconcerningtheendofthesocietywerealsoundertakenbyPolish
sociologistMirosławaMarody,payingattentionto:1)theeconomicsuccess
ofthebusinessunitandtheState;2)competitiveresistancefromtheoth-
ervaluestobuildaworldaroundareligious,ethnic,nationalcommunity;
3)combiningtheopportunitytoliveinharmonywitheachother,onthe
basisofsociallifewithautonomyandfreedomoftheindividual.6JanSowa
alsowritesaboutthediseaseofcapitalismandcrisisofliberaldemocracy.
Tisphilosopherandsociologistexposesthingsthat,aspostulatedmodels,
generallydonotleadtogoodresults,e.g.:1)pseudoliberalisminvolving
modernizationofthe“cargocult,”astheabilitytocopyinfrastructuralsolu-
tionsofmoredevelopedcountries;2)neosarmatianconservatismlooking
forsourceofPolishforceintherestorationprojectsofculturalandpoliti-
calcodesofthePolish-LithuanianCommonwealth;3)returntotheideaof
anewsocietyasasocialdemocraticstateandsocietyassociatedwiththe
Solidaritymovement,whichbrokeoutin1980.7
Referringtothescientificparadigmsaboutthecrisisofcapitalism,in
theneo-liberalversionandofinitiatedprocessleadingtotheendofthe
individualizationofsocietyandtheindividualassuch,thematterof“Ed-
ucationoftomorrow”andtheorganizationofschooleducation,within
thenextdecadewillappeartoberathernegative.Itistruethatfromthe
