Ahypotheticalsubdivisionoftherotorintothreediscsbyparallelplanes[1]
thatareperpendiculartotheaxiszispresentedinFig.1.

Itisassumedthattheelectromagneticfieldforalldisksistwo-dimensional.
Thesmoothlyskewedslotsthatappearinthiswayarereplacedwith“stepwise”
skewedslots.
3.VERIFICATIONOFACALCULATIONSBYMEASUREMENTS
Onthebasisofpresentedalgorithmacomputersoftwareforthefieldanalysis
ofinductionmotoroperationwaselaborated.Thecomputersoftwarewasapplied
tosimulatetheoperationofathree-phase,4-polemachinetypeSg100L-4B.
Thecomputersoftwaremakesitpossibletoanalysemotoroperationintran-
sientstatesundervariableloadconditions,andalsoallowsforaccountingforsup-
plyvoltagewaveformdistortion.Inthispaperwecomparetheresultsobtained
withthecomputersoftwaretothosetakenfromthelaboratorytestaswellasto
thoseobtainedonthebasisofclassicalcircuittheoryofinductionmachines.The
classicalequivalentelectriccircuitofaninductionmotor,isshowndepictedin
Fig.2.
