BENEFITSREGISTER–includesdisclosedbenefitsobtainedbypublicoffi-
cials,isalegalinstitutionintroducedintothePolishlegalsystemundertheact
onlimitingtheconductofbusinessbypersonsperformingpublicfunctions.
B.r.containsentriesonthebenefitsbasedonthedeclarationsmadebythese
officers,including:membersofparliament(deputies)andsenators,members
ofthegovernment,secretariesandundersecretariesofstateintheministries
andtheChancelleryofthePresidentoftheCouncilofMinisters,headsofcen-
traloffices,voivodes,vice-voivodes,membersofvoivodshipboards,voivodship
secretaries,voivodshiptreasurers,membersofcountyboards,countysecretar-
ies,countytreasurers,villagemayors/mayors/presidentsofcities,deputyvillage
mayors,municipalitysecretaries,municipalitytreasurers,membersofthemetro-
politanunion,metropolitanunionsecretariesandtreasurersofthemetropolitan
union.Informationthatshouldbesubmittedtotheb.r.includes:allpositions
andactivitiesperformedinbothpublicadministrationandprivateinstitutions
forwhichremunerationispaid,andself-employedwork;factsofmaterialsup-
portforpublicactivitiescarriedoutbytheapplicant;adonationreceivedfrom
domesticorforeignentitiesifitsvalueexceeds50%ofthelowestwagepaidto
employeesfortheirwork;domesticorforeigntripsunrelatedtoapublicfunc-
tioniftheirexpensehasnotbeencoveredbytheapplicantorhis/herspouseor
theiremployinginstitutionsorpoliticalparties,associationsorfoundationsof
whichtheyaremembers;otherobtainedbenefits,notrelatedtotheoccupation
ofpostsortheperformanceofactivitiesorwork.B.r.alsoincludesinformation
onparticipationinfoundationbodies,commerciallawcompaniesorcoopera-
tives,eveniftherearenocashbenefits.Personsubmitting/fillinginformationfor
b.r.isobligedtoexerciseduediligenceandtobeguidedbyhis/herbestknowl-
edge.Allchangesofdatacoveredbytheb.r.mustbesubmittednolaterthan
within30daysoftheiroccurrence.B.r.isopen,itisrunbytheNationalElec-
toralCommission.TheAnti-CorruptionActdoesnotprovideforanysanctions
iftherequiredinformationisnotreportedtotheregistry.Thereisnoexemplary
applicationform,registeredbylaw,fortheb.r.submission,however,anexem-
plarymodelwasdevelopedandplacedontheNationalElectoralCommission’s
