“Ariosteanpath”takenbyJuliuszSłowacki,especiallywhenseenasBeniowski’s
author.Italsoshedsacompletelynewlightontheissueofgenresyncretismin
theTrilogy,whichhasbeendebatedbymanyresearchers,anditalsosupportsthe
rationale,relatedtothehistoryofliterature,behindZygmuntSzweykowski’s
hypothesisaboutthefabulousnessofSienkiewicz’sTrilogy.
