thedistributionofthesefungiinPolandandworldwide.Additionally,dataonother
speciesthathavenotbeenreportedfromourcountrysofarbutarelikelytobe
foundisprovided.18speciesamongthefungipresentedarenewforPolandand
threeofthem,i.e.Septoriatunicarum,S.bunkinae,andS.inulicola-brittanicae
havenotbeenreportedfromEurope.ThefungifromthegenusSeptoriawere
collectedfrom412hostplantspeciesfrom72families.Amajorityofthefungi
werefoundonrepresentativesofAsteraceae(32gat.),Apiaceae(15),Lamiaceae
(14),Poaceae(13),Caryophyllaceae(12),Ranunculaceae(12),andRosaceae(12).
Mostofthemareraretaxareportedfrom1-5localities.Inturn,themostcommon
speciesincludeS.aegopodii,S.polygonorum,andS.scabiosicolaaswellaspar-
asitesofcropandusefulplants,e.g.S.pyricola,S.lycopersici,andS.apiicola.
