TeRoyalMortuaryCultComplexisthefocusofworkatpresentwithmostoftheactivities
concentratedinsidetheChapelofHatshepsut(amongothers,installationofathree-layered
tempered-glasstrapdoorintheopeningoftheshafofTombVIII(S.7A/82)fromtheTwenty-
thirdDynasty,furnishedwithaladderdownintothetombandalightingsystem).Apilot
restorationprojectconcerningthesandstonesphinxesofHatshepsutwasimplementedaswell,
aswastherestorationoftheOsiridestatuesinthefacadeoftheUpper(Coronation)Portico.
TrencheswereexcavatedtotheeastofthenorthernT-shapedpond(S.1/12),tocheckthe
groundundertherestoredsandstonesphinxesofHatshepsut.Amongothers,TombIIinthe
rock-clilfacebehindtheTempleofTuthmosisIIIwasre-explored,yieldingremnantsofgrave
goods(inscribedshrouds,potteryandcofns)whichplacedtheoriginsofthetombintheearly
Twenty-sixthDynasty.GroundPenetratingRadar(GPR)surveyswerecarriedoutinthethree
templeterraces.
DocumentationproceededintheRoyalMortuaryCultComplexaswellasintheBarkHall
oftheMainSanctuaryofAmun-Re,whereverificationofearlierdrawingswasthemainfocus.
Graftiandbuildingdipintiweredocumentedandstudied.
OutsidetheTempleofHatshepsut,astudyofrepresentationsofprivatecostumeinEgyptian
artfromtheTwenty-fifhtotheTirty-firstDynastyinthetombsofAsasifwascarriedout
