Abstract:Theaimofthearticleistopresenttheissueofterritorialnon-uniformity
oflawinthecontextofprivateinternationallawandinternalregulationsofcountries
whoselegalsystemsarenon-uniform.Determiningtheapplicablelawwithinsuchcoun-
triesmaycauseseveraldifficulties,unabletobesolvedonlybyapplicationoftheprivate
internationallaw.Thereforeinsuchsituationsitisnecessarytoapplyitsinternalcolli-
sionnorms.
Thearticlepresentstheissueofterritorialnon-uniformityoflawfromtwodifferent
perspectives.Thefirstoneconsistsonanalyzingthematterofnon-uniformityoflaw
fromthepointofviewofbothPolishandforeignregulationsofprivateinternationallaw.
TheanalysisinthisregardisconductedonthebasisofPolishActsonPrivateInterna-
tionalLawfrom2011,1965and1926aswellastheEUregulations.Oneofthemostcom-
monwaysofdealingwiththeproblemofinter-regionalconflictoflawsconsistsonthatif
withinthecountrywhoselawisapplicablethereareinforceseveraldistinctivelegalsys-
tems,thenthelawofthiscountryshallspecifywhichofthesesystemsshallapply.Such
solutionwasadoptedalsobythePolishActofPrivateInternationalLawfrom2011.
Thesecondperspectivepresentstheissueofterritorialnon-uniformityoflawfrom
thepointofviewofSpanishinter-regionalregulations.Thesenormsspecifytheapplica-
blelawwithintheframeworkoflegalrelationslimitedtoSpain,howevertheycanalso
applyforthoselegalrelationswhichincludeaforeignelement.Insuchcasethenorms
ofinter-regionallawcomplementthenormsofprivateinternationallaw.Thearticle
presentstherulesofSpanishinter-regionallawinthehistorical,systemsandpractical
view.TheanalysisisconductedonthebasisofSpanishlegislation,jurisprudenceand
legaldoctrine.
Descriptiveandcomparativecharacterofthearticleprovidesacomprehensiveview
oftheissueofterritorialnon-uniformityoflawaswellaspossiblewaysofitsregulation
