In2020,thetwocountriescelebratedthe65thanniversaryoftheirdiplomatic
relations,withtheIndiangovernmentdescribingPolandasanimportant
partnerofIndiainCentralEurope.Overall,therelationshipbetweenPoland
andIndiaisconsideredfriendlyandcooperative,theAmbassadorofPolandto
IndiawasAdamBurakowski,andtheAmbassadorofIndiatoPolandwas
TsewangNamgyalatthattime.
4.RelationshipwiththeRepublicofKiribati
TherelationshipbetweentheRepublicofPolandandtheRepublicofKiribati
isonethatisstillintheearlystagesofdevelopment,butwithsignificant
potentialforgrowthandcooperation.Politically,thetwocountrieshave
establisheddiplomaticrelationsandengageinregulardiscussionsonregional
andinternationalsecurityissues.Theyalsoshareacommitmenttodemocracy,
humanrights,andtheruleoflaw,andhaveworkedtogetheronanumberof
initiativesaimedatpromotingstabilityandpeaceintheIndo-Pacificregion.
PolandandKiribatihavediplomaticrelations,buttheirrelationshipis
notparticularlyclose.Therearenoresidentdiplomaticmissionsbetweenthe
twocountries.However,theyhavecooperatedinsomeareas,suchasthrough
Poland’sparticipationintheUnitedNationsPeacekeepingForceinTimor-
Leste,whereKiribatihasalsoserved.Tradeandinvestmentbetweenthetwo
countriesremainlimited.Additionally,in2017,PolandsupportedKiribati’sbid
formembershipintheInternationalMaritimeOrganization’sCouncil,which
wasultimatelysuccessful.
5.RelationshipwiththeFederationofMalaysia
TherelationshipbetweentheRepublicofPolandandtheFederationofMalaysia
isoneofgrowingfriendshipandcooperation,withsignificantpotentialfor
furthergrowthanddevelopment.Politically,thetwocountrieshavestrongties,
basedonsharedvaluessuchasdemocracy,humanrights,andtheruleoflaw.
Theyalsocooperateonregionalandinternationalsecurityissues,andwork
togethertopromotestabilityandpeaceintheIndo-Pacificregion.
