Theyear2012shouldbeestimatedasaverysuccessfulfortheSilesianJournalofLe-

galStudies(SJLS).TheJournalhasobtaineditsfirstpointsontheministeriallistofsci-

entificjournals.Thesefourpointsseemtobearealtriumphfortheveryyoungjour-

nalissuedoneayear.Thesuccessencouragestheeditorialboardtocontinuethemain

missionoftheSJLSwhichisthelegaldiscourseovergeographicalandlegalborders.

Simultaneously,itisalsoabigchallenge.ThereforetheScientificBoardoftheSJLShas

beenexpanded.WeheartedlywelcomeasmembersofthisbodyProfessorNadezda

RozehnalovafromMasarykUniversityinBrno(theCzechRepublic),DocentAndrea

OlsovskafromUniversityinTrnava(Slovakia)andProfessorJavierLetefromUniver-

sityinSantiagodeCompostela(Spain).

Moreoverthefirstlevelreviewingcommitteehasbeenalsoformallycreatedinor-
