asco-directortotheCentre’sprojectinSaruqal-HadidinDubai(UnitedArab

Emirates).AsdirectoroftheCentre,hesignedofficialagreementswiththe

respectivearchaeologicalauthoritiesinArmenia,GeorgiaandSaudiArabiato

inauguratejointarchaeologicalprojects.

In2012,BielińskistoodattheheadofanOrganizingCommitteethat

preparedtheprestigiousInternationalCongressontheArchaeologyofthe

AncientNearEast(ICAANE8)hostedbytheUniversityofWarsaw.

DuringhistimeasDirectoroftheCentre,hedidnotfailtocultivate

cooperationwiththeEgyptianauthorities.In2007,heinauguratedaninvited

exhibitionattheEgyptianMuseuminCairopresenting70yearsofPolish

archaeologyandconservationontheNile.Theceremonywasaccompaniedby

theunveilingofabustofProfessorKazimierzMichałowskiinthepantheon
