knowledgeandexchangeinformationabouttherecentstateofscholarshipandexpertiserelated
tocounteringterrorism;4.toestablishlong-lastinglinksandnetworksamongstworkshopparticipants;
5.tostrengthenthelinksbetweenacademiaandthethinktankcommunity;6.toprovideparticipants
withaplatformofcontactwiththeworld’smostestablishedterrorismexperts;7.tocriticallyassessthe
existingknowledgerelatedtocounteringterrorismandtoidentifygaps;8.toidentifychallenges
topolicy-orientedresearchonleadershipofterroristgroups,organisationsandnetworksinthepost-bin
Ladenage;9.toofferastructuredsetofsolutionstocounter-terrorismpractitionersonhowtoapproach
theissueofleadershipinterroristgroups,organisationsandnetworks,andhowtoaddressthisissueinthe
mostefficientmanner;10.toproduceguidelinesandideasforfutureresearchavenuesinthefield
