TemythofOedipusońersinterestingcluesifwereaditinthecontextofthe
legendoftheBuddhistprinceAjātaśatru,acontemporaryofBuddha,inJapan
calledAjase.TelegendhasbeenchosenbyJapanesepsychoanalysisastherepre-
