TheimpactofUkrainianmigrationin2014-2018ontheeconomicsecurityoftheRepublicofPoland
variousareasofhumanactivity.Thecauseandefectschemeincludes
positiveandnegativefeedbackbetweentheindividualelementsofthis
system.Theproposedschemedistinguishesonlyafewsamplecouplings,
butbasedonthissmallfragmentofthesocialsystem,itcanbeseenhow
elementsoftheeconomyandthelabormarketafecttheissuesofpub-
licorderorthenumberofincomingmigrants.Characteristicinthesys-
temicapproachisthenetworkofconnections,whichmeansthatthe
growthofoneelementmaycontributetothegrowthofanotherinone
sector,whilecausingadecreaseintheother.Basedonthediagrambe-
low,itcanbeseenhowdifcultitistomanagemigrationinsuchaway
astoachieveeconomicefciencywhilelimitingtheadversephenomena
oftensionsandsocialunrest.
Thepresentedanalyzesindicatethatbothinthemicroandmacro-
economicscale,theimportanceofeconomicimmigrationfromUkraine
forthePolisheconomyisgrowing.Ofcourse,dependingontheselect-
edemploymentsectorsandregionsofthecountry,economicmigration
willhaveadiferentimpactonthelocallabormarketandthecondition
ofenterprises.Takingintoaccounttheincreaseinthedynamicsofthe
influxofimmigrantsfromacrosstheeasternborder,causedbythecon-
flictinUkraine,theunstableeconomyortheimpossibilityofeconomic
migrationtoRussia,forecastsoffurtherinfluxofworkersfromUkraine
showanupwardtrend.ThedemandonthePolishmarketforemployees
fromacrosstheeasternborderisindisputableinthecurrenteconomic
situationinPoland.Currently,pushfactorsaremoreimportantforim-
migrantsfromUkraine.Polandshouldmakeefortstocreateasmany
elementsaspossibletoattractmigrants,especiallyinasituationwhere
visa-freetravelwitheasternneighborshasbeenopened.
Summary
ThepoliticalandeconomicinstabilityinUkrainehascausedanunprec-
edentedincreaseintheinfluxofimmigrantsfromUkrainetoPoland.
Accordingtosomeestimates,thenumberofUkrainianimmigrantsin
Polandhasalreadyexceededonemillion,andforecastsindicatethatnext
