ThisarticleattemptstoreviewpublicationsfromtheOxfordlibrarybase,inwhichauthors
haveusedthemethodofbiographicalstudiesormentioneditsmethodologicalaspectsinthe
text.30worksinthefeldofsocialsciences,publishedin2010–2015weresubjectedtothe
analysis.Theidentifcationoftextsthatmettheinclusioncriteriawasmadethroughanalyz-
ingtheresultsofthesearchofpresetkeywordsandtheircombinationsinthedatabase.The
analysisshowedawiderangeofbothsubjectareas,theoreticalapproachesaswellasthe
modeofusingthebiographicalmethodbyresearchersfromvariousfeldsofscience.
