METHODSFORSWITCHEDRELUCTANCEMOTOR
InthepaperselectedmethodsofspeedmeasurementforSwitchedReluctanceMotor
(SRM)wereanalysed.Twodifferentmeasurementsystemsweretakenintoaccount:one
withlowanotherwithhighresolutionsensor.Acompensationoferrorsoflowresolution
sensor(LRS)wasproposed.Differentspeedmeasurementmethods:M,T,M/Twithcon-
stantandvariablestepswerecompared.Resultsoftheoreticalanalysiswerevalidatedby
laboratoryexperiment.

1.INTRODUCTION
SwitchedReluctanceMotor(SRM)isanobjectofinvestigationsinmanyre-
searchcentresovertheworld.Itsadvantagesaresimpleandeconomicconstruc-
tion,highmaximumrotationalspeedandhighreliability[3].Duetoapplicationof
DSPandFPGAincontrolsystemsitwaspossibletousetheSRMindriveswith
highdynamicrequirements.Insuchdrivestheprecisemeasurementofrotational
speedisnecessary.
