decadeofthe1951-2018periodwaswarmer
thantheonebefore.Tedińerencebetween
thesecondtolastdecadeandtheyears2011-
2018wasbetween0.6and0.8OC,whichissig-
nificantlygreaterthandińerencesbetweenthe
precedingdecades.Anexceptionoccurredin
the1960s,whentheaverageannualvaluesof
airtemperatureinallstationswerelowerthan
intheprecedingdecade.Asfarasseasonsof
theyearareconcerned,thetrendofairtem-
peratureincreasewasnotthatunambiguous.
