Theauthorsofthepublicationentitled„Hydraulicsystemsinheavyconstruction
equipment”,wanttoacquaintstudentsofmechanicalfacultiesandoperatorsofwork-
ingandconstructionmachinerywiththefundamentalknowledgeofthedesigningof
hydraulicsystems,boththeircylindersandcontrolelements.Themanuscriptpresents
informationonhydrokineticandhydrostatichydraulicsystems.Theworkdiscusses
thebasiccomponentsofhydraulicsystemsusedinworkingmachinery,inparticular:
hydraulicpumpsandmotors,cylinders,valves,directionalcontrolvalves,accumula-
tors.Oilcircuitsinopenandclosedlayouts,fixed-powerandload-sensingsystems
arediscussed.Basicsafetyfeaturesusedinhydrostaticsystemsofworkingmachin-
eryarepresented.Thepapergivesexamplesofhydraulicsystemsinwhichseveral
componentsofthehydraulicdrive(pumps,motors,hydrauliccylinders)cooperate,
andpresentsexamplesofsynchronizationofthemovementofhydrauliccylinders.
Thepublicationdiscussesthegeneralprinciplesofcontrolandregulationinhydraulic
systemsaswellaspresentsvariouscontrolsystemswithexamples.Inconjunction
withtheaforementionedcontrolsystems,controlelementsinhydraulicsystemsare
discussed,aswellastheirconnectionsystemsinhydraulicdrives.
Chapteroneofthisbookdiscussesthebasichydrauliccomponentsusedinworking
machinery,theirfunctions,purposeandpresentsbasiccalculations.Chaptertwopres-
entsbasicinformationonopen,closed,constantoutputandconstantpowerhydraulic
systems.Thewaysofcontrollingthesystemsarediscussedonthebasisofhydraulic
systemdiagrams.Chapterthreepresentscurrenttrendsindrivesystemsusedinworking
machines,i.e.:thedrivingmechanism,theturningmechanism,therotationmechanism
oftheworkingattachment,anddiscussesthesystemofcooperationofthehydrauliccyl-
inderwiththeworkingattachmentworkinginthecrankandleversystem(chapterfour).
Themanualpresentsamethodfordeterminingtheforcesandmomentsactingonwork
attachmentsgeneratedbyhydrauliccylinders(force)andhydraulicmotors(torque).
Chapterfiveisdevotedtospecializedcontrolsystemsforworkattachmentsinconstruc-
tionmachinery.Chaptersixpresentsbasicinformationonmaintenanceandoperationof
hydraulicsystemsofworkingmachinery,i.e.:unloadinghydraulicsystems,deaerating
hydraulicsystems,performingdailymaintenance,replacinghydrauliccomponents.
