Stilltest-basedaccountabilityisamajorinstrumentforteachers’evaluation
thatisanarguablemeasuresincetheteachersmayhavechildrenthatcametohis/
herclasswithlowscoresandeveniftheygrewacademicallytheymaynotmeet
thedesiredscoreresultsattheendoftheyear.
Toimprovethepracticeofteaching,teacherscantakeprofessionallearning
opportunities(Newhall,2015).Terequiredstandardssetforprofessionaldevel-
opmentopportunitiesaretheneedsforcreatinglearningcommunities,working
incollaboration,determiningstudents’needsandapplyingresearchfindingsinto
practice.
Teteachereducationprogramsshouldfirstofallbasethecurriculaon
thecurrentresearchfindingsandtheneedsofstudents,therigorousprograms
shouldpreparesteacherstobelife-longlearners,motivatedandhavingpowerto
decidehowtoapplydevelopmentallyandculturallyappropriatepracticeintheir
schoolenvironment.
