thehighschoolstudentsandaddressingthemwiththeinformaluyou”(inRus-
sian–ty).ItseemedthatRussianteenagerswerefinallygivenavoice,however,
theattitudewasnotoneofequals,butmorelikethetendernessofparentshearing
theirchildrenspeakforthefirsttime.
Whatismissedinallthisisthattheviewsyoungpeoplehaveonpoliticsare
notthatmuchdińerentthanthoseoftheadultactivists.Similartotheadults,the
