Introduction
Inthefuture,knowledgewillprobablydevelopalongsidetwolines.Thefirst
willconsistofevermoreadvanceddetailedstudiesspecifictoindividual
sciences.Theotherwillincludeaquestforknowledgewiththeuseoftools
ofvarioussciencesincooperationofexpertsfromdifferentdisciplines.Those
twopathsoflookingforknowledgearebynomeansmutuallycompetitiveand
mydevelopinparallel.However,theywillmeetmoreandmorefrequently
andfindopportunitiestocollaborate.Muchwilldependonmakingadvantage
oftheseopportunities.Takingadvantageofsuchopportunitieswillfavour
thedevelopmentofknowledgewhichreallyservespeople.Amanifestation
ofareductionofreasoningandunderstandingofrealitywouldbe,after
all,attemptstodescribeanindividualperson,whoatthesametimelives
inacommunity-includingsuchpoliticalcommunityasanation-fromthe
viewpointpointofasinglescience.Thatiswhysecuritystudieseagerlyreach
outfortheknowledgeworkedoutinvariousdisciplinessoasinthiswaycreate
thesecurityofapersonandthesocialformsofexistencetheyrealise,suchas
family,nation,andstate.Theincreasinglyfrequentinterdisciplinaryapproach
toscientificphenomenaseemstobeamatterofnecessityratherthanapassing
fad.Thisformofconductingresearchoffersapossibilityofdiscoveringand
exploringevernowfieldsofstudy,whileatthesametimemakingitpossiblefor
