matrix(UFRT)composites.Alltheissuesandcomputationalalgorithmsareformu-
latedfullyanalytically,usingadvancedmathematicaltools,includingLamé-type
tasksformonotropic(transverselyisotropic)elasticmaterials,standardandinverse
Laplacetransformations,aMittag-Lefflerfractionalexponentialfunction,Gauss-
Legendrequadratures,complexquasi-shear/shearcompliances,andtheelastic-vis-
coelasticcorrespondenceprinciple.Theformulations,solutionsandanalysesofthe
issuescontainedinthebookarefullyoriginalanduniqueintheworld.
TheAuthors’greatestachievement,bearingthehallmarkofascientificdiscovery,isthe
decouplingoftheconstitutiveequationsofelasticityofhomogenizedUFRTcomposites
andformulationofthedecoupledconstitutiveequationsofrheologyofthesecomposites,
usingasinglefractionalexponentialgenericfunction.Theadvancedanalyticalmodel-
lingincludesthehomogenizationtheoryofUFRTcomposites,theinverseprobleminthe
homogenizationtheoryofUFRTcomposites,theelasticandrheologicalconstitutivemod-
ellingofthermosettingpolymersandUFRTcomposites,experimentalvalidationofthe
rheologicalmodelofthermosettingpolymers,andnumericalvalidationoftherheological
modelofUFRTcomposites.Thebookalsocontainsrichillustrativematerialincludingex-
perimentalidentificationoftheviscoelasticconstantsofselectedresins,numericalidenti-
cationoftheviscoelasticconstantsofrepresentativeUFRTcomposites,andsimulations
ofselectedrheologicalprocessesintheexaminedresinandUFRTcomposites.
Thebookisintendedforresearchersworkingonthemechanicsofthermosetting
polymersandfibre-reinforcedthermosetmatrixcompositesandlaminates.Despitethe
advancedcomplexanalyticalmodelling,thebookiswritteninanaccessible,precise,
andcomprehensivemanner.Thepresentedtheoryoflinearelasticityandrheologyof
thermosettingpolymersandUFRTcompositescouldbeincorporatedintodoctoral
programmesincivil,mechanical,automotive,aeronauticalandnavalengineering.
