tioninPolandappearsinthefollowingarticle.hearticledescribeslegalacts

thatconcerntheexecutionofprisonsentencesandrehabilitationmethodsfor

convictsinpenalinstitutions.Animportantpartofthisworkisadescriptionof

certainparadoxesthatarepresentinthepenalpolicyandtherealityofPolish

prisons,amongwhichthemainoneisthelackofrehabilitationpossibilitiesand

growingcrimerates.Moreover,thearticledescribesthespeciﬁcityofrehabilita-

tionofconvictsthatareaddictedtoalcoholandpsychotropicsubstancesand

theconditionsinprisonsforthesocalleddangerouscriminals.heauthoralso

pointstothefactthatthereisasubstantialunderdevelopmentwithinpenalsanc-

tionsthatconstituteanalternativetotheprisonsentence.
