isthebasisofprofessionalactivityofanyEnglishlanguageteacher.Itiscom-
monknowledgethattheprofessionalactivityofEnglishteachersisbasedon
subject-subjectiverelations.Askilled,proficient,creative,sociallyactive,hu-
manisticvalue-orientedteacherisconsideredatrueprofessional.Thelevelof
higherschoolteachers’proficiencydependsontheircompetence,onthelevel
oftheirprofessional-pedagogicalthinkingupgradingaswellasontheireduca-
tionalandresearchworkstandards.
Nowadays,aproficientteachercanemploydifferentmethods,technologies
andfacilitiesinhis/herworkwithstudents,inparticulare-learningtechnologies.In
mostcasesmodernteachinghasacquiredmorefeaturesofblendedlearningthan
juste-learningpropertoenrichteachingandlearning.Whileapplyingmultimedia
devicesinESPclasses,teacherscanusereadymadeapplicationsanddeveloptheir
ownmultimediaproducts.Thefirstwayisaclearandeasyonebecausethereare
alotofsoftwareproductsforlearningEnglish.Inpractice,weusevariousmaterials
thatarepublishedbyBritishexperts.Thesecondwayismoredifficultandrequires
aprofessionalapproachtoandtheawarenessofthenecessitytocreateamultime-
diaproductandmaterialsfortheMoodlesystem.
Thus,wepayattentiontothecontentofthecoursetolearnEnglishforspecific
purposesandbusinessEnglish,inparticular.ThedepartmentofForeignLanguages
publishedacoursebookwithaworkbookforstudentswhostudyeconomics[Bo-
Bu10].Thebookcoverstextsontheirprofessionaltopics,thetextsareeconomic
vocabularybound.Thisbookcomprisesmultimediasoundelementssuchasvideo,
audioandpowerpointpresentations.Now,anattempttointegratethiscoursebook
intotheAdobeCaptivateandComptasiaStudioproductstoupdateitforcomputer-
-basedsystemsisbeingcarriedout.
Students’participationinmultimediaproductsdevelopmentisdulyempha-
sizednowadays.
AnotherwayofmotivatingstudentstolearnEnglishistoinstalllearning
materialsintheMoodlesystem.TheMoodlesystemisatwo-waylocalnetpro-
gramensuringthenecessarycontentforsuccessfulself-workofstudents(ref.
toFig.1.).
