Thesystemconsistsofthreelayers,asshowninFig.1.2.Datawereacquired
fromtomographicdevicesastimeseriesdatasets.Usingthissolution,theMQTT
protocolwasusedtopassthedatafromthesourcetotheanalyticalsystem.The
dataflowwasreplicatedfortwodestinations:thefirstforthedatabasesystem(for
thispurposetheNoSQLCloudantdatabasesystemwasused)andthesecondone
fortheanalyticalsystemforfurtheranalysis.Theaimofsuchanoperationwasto
processdatainrealtimeaswellastostorerawhistoricaldataforadditionaloffline
analysis(Fig.1.3)[3,311,326].
