players,sub-eliteandjuniorteams,takingintoaccounttheplayer’sposi-
tiononthepitchandthedurationofthematch(divisionintoquarters).
Alotofattentionwasalsodevotedtothebuildandcompositionofthe
bodyandthesomatotypeofbasketballplayers(Buśkoet.al.,2017;Gerod-
imoset.al.,2005;Raymond-Popeet.al.,2020;Viswanathanet.al.2010).
Intheirstudy,CôtéandGilbert(2009)dealtwiththeissuesofefciency
andcoachingexperience,andEsteveset.al.(2020)withtheproblemofthe
eńectivenessofthegameresultingfromthegameoverloadassociatedwith
alargenumberofgamesplayed.TrainingloadsweredealtwithbyPetway
et.al.(2020).Almostallthestudiesfoundinthescientificliteraturecon-
cernsportscompetitionsofhearingpeople.Areviewofdatabasesofsci-
entificjournalsrevealedonlyafewpublicationsonplayersandteamswith
hearingimpairment.
In1991,Stewardet.al.dealtwithdeterminingthecausesandprocesses
thankstowhichdeafathletesenteredintotheparticipationinthesportof
theDeaf.
Tepurposeofthestudy(Milašiusetal.,2014)wastoestablishand
evaluatebodycapacityandfunctionalcapacityofLithuaniandeafbasket-
ballnationalteamplayers,2013Deaflympicchampions,andtoprovidethe
dataanalysisoftheplayers’participationinDeaflympicGamescomparing
itwiththedataofparticipationintheGamesof2005and2009.
Szulcdescribedthefirst(2017)andsecondeditionoftheU21Euro-
peanChampionship(2019)inmen’sfootball.Tepaperpresentstheresults
oftheanalysisof16matches:12matchesintheAandBgroup,2semifi-
nals,thematchforthe3rdplace,andthefinal.Analyseswerebasedon
videorecordingsfromthestadiumandconcernedthefollowingmatchsta-
tistics:timewhengoalswerescoredduringthegameforthe1stand2nd
halfandforeach15-minuteperiodofthegame,numberofgoalsscored,
shotstotarget,shotsmissed.Shotsontargetsrepresentacomponentof
shotsscoredwithagoalorcompletedbythegoalkeeper’sordefender’s
action,i.e.theballblockedorkickedout.Asuccessfulcrossisunderstood
