Introduction

natureofthemonographanditspotentialrecipients,theauthorpresented
indetailthesituationalvariablesdescribingvariousaspectsofthebasket-
ballgameusingbasicstatisticalanalyses.Tepresentedstatisticsallowed
toorganizetheindividualachievementsoftheparticipantsofthe4thWorld
DeafMen’sBasketballChampionships,whichwereplayedin2015in
Taoyuan(ChineseTaipei)andthe5thDeafWorldChampionshipsinmen’s
basketball,whichtookplacein2019inLublin(Poland).Foreachtourna-
ment,matchstatisticsweredividedintotwogroups.Tefirstgroupcon-
cernedthestatisticsofthematchesofthewinningteams,andthesecond
-thestatisticsofthelosingteams.Additionally,the2019BasketballWorld
Cup(ofhearing)wasanalyzed.Intotal,theanalysispresentsacomparison
of21performanceindicatorsduringthreeeventsoftheworldchampion-
shiprank.Asalreadymentioned,eachcompetitionwasanalyzedinterms
ofthewonandlostmatchestoshowwhatfactorsresultingfromthegame
determinesportssuccessinbothdeafandhearingbasketballplayers.Te
monographalsopresentstherankingsoftheDeafInternationalBasketball
Federation(DIBF)in2009,2013and2019andthechangestakingplacein
theserankings.
