Abstract:TeCOVID-19pandemicforcedworld-widechangesineducation.State
authoritiesdecidedtoclosemosteducationalinstitutionsandteachingwasmoved
toanonlineformat.Inreality,about17%oflearnersandstudentsinPolandwere
excludedfrominstructionduetoeitherlackofreliableequipmentorweakInternet
signal.Terewerealsootherchallengesandthreatsconnectedtousingonline
platforms,suchaslimitedinteractionopportunities,non-participation,lackofmo-
tivation,boredomandlimitedparentalcontrol.However,teacherswereeventually
abletomasteronlineeducationaltoolsandusethemefectivelyforsynchronous
instruction.Itcanbepredictedthatonlineeducationwillremainastableelement
ofclassroomlife.Inordertoensureequalparticipationforeverybody,supportfor
teachers,learnersandfamiliesisurgentlyneeded.
