Introduction
oftheauthorof“Introduction”,andtheycanbepresentedinseparatestagesoftheon-
goingresearchinthehistoricalperspective.Altogetherwecandistinguish6individual
stagesofthedevelopmentofresearchintothequalityofuniversitymanagement:
•StageI–theidentificationoftheproblemsconnectedwiththequalityof
universitymanagementandtheeffectsofeducationinPolandagainstthe
backgroundofintegratingEurope;embracingindividualresearchbetween
2000-2006.
•StageII–thepreparationandimplementationoftheresearchproject
carriedoutbyateamundertheguidanceoftheauthorof“Introduction”en-
titled:“Managementinhighereducation”,financedfromthereserveforown
researchoftheFacultyofManagementandSocialCommunicationbetween
2007-2009;researchworkwasfinalizedwithareportandnumerouspresenta-
tionsdeliveredatconferencesandpublications.
•StageIII–workingoutownfinancialmeansbytheDepartmentofApplied
Economics(undertheguidanceoftheauthorof“Introduction”),indispen-
sabletofinancetheplannedresearch,fromthesurplusobtainedfromthe
JagiellonianUniversitygrantfortheyears2008-2010.
•StageIV–preparationandimplementationoftheresearchproject,by
ateamundertheguidanceoftheauthorof“Introduction”entitled:“Proqual-
ityrestructuringofhighereducationmanagement”between2010-1012in
Poland,theUkraine,RussiaandAlgeriaandtoalimitedextentintheUSA
andGermany.
•StageIVa–preparationandimplementationofresearchtopicNo.1,bythe
teamundertheguidanceoftheauthorof“Introduction”entitled:“Challenges
ofthequalitymanagementinhighereducation”,carriedoutundertheguid-
anceoftheauthorof“Introduction”byateamoftwenty-fivecomposedof
academicteachers,scientificandtechnicalstaffaswellasstudents.The
outcomeofthiscooperationwasamonograph;acollectedworkentitled:
“Challengesofthequalitymanagementinhighereducation”publishedby
WydawnictwoUniwersytetuJagiellońskiegoin2011.
•StageIVb–preparationandimplementationofresearchtopicNo.2,car-
riedoutbytheauthorof“Introduction”,entitled:“Thequalityofmanagementin
highereducation”,endingupwithamonographbytheauthorof“Introduction”,
publishedbyWydawnictwoUniwersytetuJagiellońskiegoin2012.
•StageIVc–preparationandimplementationoftheinternationalre-
searchtopicNo.3,carriedoutbyateamundertheguidanceoftheauthor
of“Introduction”entitled:“Thecontemporaryproblemsofmanagementin
highereducation”.Theresearchworkwascarriedoutbetween2010-2012in
Poland,theUkraine,Russia,AlgeriaandtoalimitedextentintheUSAand
Germany.Theoutcomeofthesaidresearchisthepresentcollaborativemono-
graphCurrentProblemsofUniversityManagement.Thepublicationistobe
financedbytheFacultyofManagementandSocialCommunication.
