2.GENERALUNITCONTROLSTRUCTURE
Compensationtasksinpowerelectricgridwhichcanberealizedusingseries
compensationunitofgeneralstructureshowninFig.1.
Thestructureisbasedonpowerelectronicinverterthatworksascontrolled
voltagesource.Thatinvertersuppliestheadditivevoltage,withadjustable
transient,tothepowerlinebyseriestransformer.Thatkindofunitcanprovide
controlandadjustmentsofpowerlineparameterssimultaneously[5].

Thedevelopmentofactivecompensationsystemsplacesbeforethemmoreand
morehigherrequirementsregardingtheirstaticparameters,andespecially
dynamic.Atpresentoneinvestigatessuchsystemswhichpracticallywithoutdelay
reacttochangesininstantaneousavaluesofcompensatedvoltages[1,4].
Thestructurecanbeclosed(withfeedbackloop)oropen,dependsontypeof
control.Resultsincludedinthispaperarebasedonresearchesunderclosed
structurebasedunit(Fig.2).

generator.Theuseofadaptivedigitalfilterstocontrolofthesesystemsrelies
(amongotherthings)ontheirworkinsuchstructure,sothattheybecomeatthe
sametimeasignalsourceforthegeneratorPWM.Isthisclassicaluseofadaptive
digitalfilters[4],illustratedinFig.3.
