Inthepaperwepresenttheprogressofworksrelatedtotheagent-basedsystemserving
thepurposeofinformationtechnologyassessment.Currentlythisisaprototypeincluding
agents,theknowledgebaseandtheontology;thedomainincorporatedbytheassessment-
enterprisemanagingtechnologieswithspecialattentionpaidtotechnologiesdirectedtoIT
projects.Inthispaper,besidesindicationofexpectedfunctionalitiesspecialemphasisisput
onverificationofprototypecorrectness.Thepurposeofsuchverificationistohavetheset
ofexperimentsrelatedtoassessmentofbasicfunctionalities,nextaddingnewfunctionality
andnewcontext.Asthispaperispartoftheseriesdescribingcreatedsystem(thework
name:MAS_IT)andduetolimitedplaceassignedforthepapertheauthorswishtodirect
allthosewhoareinterestedinthisissuetothebibliographyitems[5,6,7]quotedinthe
paper.

1.INTRODUCTION
Thepresentedpaperisthecontinuationofseriesofarticlesconcerning
researchesuponinformationtechnologiesandistheexampleofapplicationof
multi-agentsystemconceptionfortheassessmentofinformationtechnologies.This
conceptionhasbeenelaboratedinDepartmentofInformationTechnology
ManagementofGdańskUniversityofTechnologyin2007andhasbeendeveloped
successively(see:[5,6,7]).
