1.Definition,systematicsandmethodologyofdesigninghydraulicgearmachines
Attheseventhstage,avisualstudyoftheflowprocessesandphenomenain
thechannelsandclearancesoftheHGMisconducted,whichinFigure1.3ispresented
inaformofareferencemarkdirectedtowardstheinsideofthemachine.Atthebegin-
ningofthatstage,anexperimentalmachineisconstructedandateststandequipped
withafastcameraforphotorecordingisprepared.
Basingontheresultsofthedesigningworkobtainedinstages1-6,anexperi-
mentalmachinewithatechnicalglasshousingisconstructed.Theoperatingmachine
thenismonitoredand,bymeansofthefastcamera,theflowprocessesandphenom-
enaoccurringinthemachinearerecorded.Bychangingthedesignsolutionsand
theoperationalparametersofthemachine,itispossibletomonitortheirinfluenceon
theprocessesandphenomenainsidethemachine.Basedontheanalysisoftheproc-
esses,itispossibletocorrectthedesignsolutionoftheentireHGM.
Attheeighthstage,anexperimentalresearchintothepressureinthechannels
andclearancesoftheHGMisconducted,whichFigure1.3presentsasareference
markdirectedtowardstheinsideofthemachine.Similarlytohowitiscarriedoutat
stage7,anexperimentalmachineandateststandareconstructed,equippedwith
asystemforthemeasuringofthedynamicpressureintheintertoothdisplacement
chambersduringtheoperationofthemachine.Thepressurecurvesarethendrawn.
Bychangingthedesignsolutionsandtheoperationalparametersofthemachine,
itispossibletomonitortheirinfluenceontheprocessesoccurringinthemeshof
thegearsystemandthesystemoftheinternalchambersandclearances.Based
ontheanalysisoftheprocesses,itispossibletocorrectthedesignsolutionofthe
entireHGM.
Attheninthstage,theHGMhousingisdesigned,whichinFigure1.3ismarked
withaboldlineedgingthegearsystemandthesystemofchannelsandclearances.
Todesignthehousingthefollowingstepsneedtobetaken:determiningthebasic
shapeofthehousingandconductingthestrengthanalysisbymeansofFEM,modify-
ing(correcting)thebasicshapeofthehousingandcarryingoutthestrengthanalysis
utilizingFEM,andfinally,acceptingthefinalshapeofthehousing.
Atthetenthstage,theaxialclearancecompensationsystemoftheHGM
isdesigned,whichFigure1.3presentsinaformofanovalcompensationelementwork-
ingwiththegearsystem,edgedwithaboldlineandhatchedwithobliquelines.
Thedesigningprocessstartswiththeselectionoftheshapeandsizeofthecompen-
sationelement.Next,thepressureresearchresultsobtainedatstage8areimplemented,
onthebasisofwhichtheresultantrepulsiveforceworkingonthecompensation
elementandonitspointofcontactaredetermined.Finally,ontheoutersurfaceof
thecompensationelement,asurfaceisformed,whichisinfluencedbytheworkingpres-
sure.Asaresult,theresultantpressingforceisgenerated,whichshouldbegreater
thantherepulsiveforce.Thepointofcontactofthepressingforceisalsodetermined.
Itshouldbeplacedasclosetothepointofcontactoftherepulsiveforceaspossible.
