Theissueofcivicparticipationisaveryimportantareaofscientific
research.Thisisduetothefactthattheindicatedphenomenonisextremely
importantforsociallife.Itisofkeyimportanceintheprocessofshapingand
thendevelopingademocracy.Althoughrelativelymanypublicationsonthis
issuehavebeenpublished,thereisanoticeabledeficitinresearchoncivic
participationoftheyounggeneration.Theobservedstateofaffairsresults
mainlyfromthefactthatmostresearcherswantingtopresentcertaingeneral
trendsintheoccurrenceofthephenomenoninquestioninagivencountryor
region,oftenusegeneralizationswithoutdistinguishingbetweentheindividual
agegroupsparticipatinginit.Scientistsalsooftenfocusonprocessresearch-
showingthedevelopmentofcivicparticipationinagivencountryorregion.
Itshouldthereforebeemphasizedthattheproposedapproachtotheproblemis
innovative,especiallyinthefieldofresearchbyPolishscientists.Thesecond
importantfactthatcausedscientificeditorstoworkonthismonographisthe
importanceofaselectedsocialgroup-youngpeople-forthedevelopment
ofeachcountry.Thatiswhyitsparticipationincivilsocietyissoimportant
forthedevelopmentofdemocracy.Theaddedvalueofthispublicationisalso
thefactthatthescientificeditorsalsoco-authoredresearchersbelongingto
theeponymousagecategory-youngpeople,thankstowhich,inadditionto
anexternalview-olderscientists,wecanalsofamiliarizeourselveswiththe
conclusionsofpeopleparticipatingintheproblemphenomenon,andthusmake
analyzesfromtheinside.Whenexaminingtheissuesofcivicparticipation
ofyoungpeople,itisnecessarytoanswerthefollowingresearchquestions:
inwhatdirectionisthestudiedprocessprogressing?Isitsignificantforthe
developmentofdemocracyinPoland?Willtheyounggenerationparticipateto
agreaterextentincivilsocietyinthemediumterm?Itseemsthatyoungpeople
intheRepublicofPolandaremoreandmoreofteninvolvedinthelifeofthe
communityinwhichtheyliveandinactivitiesattheregionalorevennational
level,whichhasasignificantimpactonthedemocratictransformationsinthe
