The21stcenturyhasseenariseineconomicmigration.Itisnowcommon
andhasgrowntobecomeasocial,legalandpedagogicproblem.Itsoutcomes
includethephenomenonofeuro-orphanhood.
Emigrantlifeisconnectedwithconsiderablepsychologicalcosts.Parentswho
decidetoworkabroadareoftenunawareoftheseparationconsequencesborneby
children,themselvesandthefamilyasawhole.
Itis(interalia)parentmigrationconsequencesthatweresearchedin2013.The
researchstudyincluded40migratingparents,outofwhom62.5%werewomen,
and37.55%weremen.
Thegathereddatashowed,interalia,that:

70%ofthesubjectsnoticedmorefrequentoccurrencesoftheir
children'sschoolfailures;

majorityoftheparentsparticipatinginthestudy(65%)observed
aggressivebehavioursoftheirchildrentowardstheirpeers.Morethan
50%oftheparentsknewofmanifestationsofaggressionshowntothe
classtutors.Mostoftherespondents(62.5%)linkedtheincrease
intheirchildren'saggressivebehaviourstotheirleavinghometowork
abroad;

simultaneously57.5%ofthesubjectsstressedthefactthatduringtheir
migrationthechildbehaviourissuesintensified;

67.5%oftherespondentsnoticedthattheirchildren'semotional
problemsincreased;

60%oftherespondentsrealisedthattheirleavingthecountryledto
negativeoutcomesandconsequences.
Summingup,inordertosolvetheeuro-orphanageproblemortomitigateits
consequencesforthemigrants'childrenitisnecessarytoprovidesystemicchanges,
alsothoseregardinglegalsolutions.Inordertolimitoreliminatethephenomenon,
itisrequiredthatmanyentitiesandinstitutionsshouldtakevariousmeasures.
Itisalsoextremelyimportantthatadequateeducationalactivitiesshouldbe
effectedsoastosensitizethepublictotheproblemsofchildrenaffectedbytheir
parent's/parents'economicmigration.
