Forsomepeople,ithasbecomeasecularreligion,forothers,asurrogate

formofwararousingmostintenseemotions.Sportsstarsarenotonly

heroesofpopularculture,butinmanycasesgainthestatusofnational

heroesparexcellence.Althoughsportusedtobeaneglectedbranch

ofhumanities,ithasbeencurrentlydrawingattentionofagreaterand

greaternumberofscholarswhoanalyzethephenomenaexistingin

sportfromdiferentperspectives-theperspectivesofethics,law,so-

ciology,psychology,aswellasnumerousdimensionsofhumandifer-
