TemonographwascompletedinDecember2018,andthedatapresentedin
itcoverstheperiodofsecondaryresearchin2015-2018,whileprimaryresearch
wascarriedoutin2016-2017.Temonographanalysestheconditionsańecting
themanagementoftourismenterprisesoperatinginPoland.
Telayoutofthemonographhasbeensubordinatedtotheimplementationof
theobjectivesofthestudy,verificationofresearchhypothesesandanswerstothe
researchquestionsposed.Temonographisofatheoreticalandempiricalnature
andconsistsoffourparts,introductionandconclusions.Testartingpointof
thefirstpartoftheworkwasanattempttoorganizeandexplainterminological
ambiguities,whichallowedforanin-depthanalysisoftherelationshipsbetween
innovationandtourism.Tefirstpartoftheworkisthereforedevotedtodefining
theconceptofinnovation,innovativenessandinnovationmanagement.Next,
theinnovativeprocessisdefinedandtheclassificationofinnovationsandthe
sourcesoftheircreationismade.Tefirstpartendswiththecharacteristicsof
innovationantecedentsinthelayoutofglobalresearchresults.
Tesecondpartfocusesonthetheoreticalfoundationsofinnovationin
tourism.Teessenceoftourismisfirstdiscussed,andtheclassificationoftourism
marketentitiesandtherolesoftheseentitiesismade.Ten,thespecificityof
innovationintourismispointedout,theinnovativeenterprise’sattributesare
characterizedandinnovationsinthissectorareclassified.Telastissuesofthis
partconcerntheeńectsofinnovationintourismandbarriersaccompanying
innovativeactivitiesinthissector.
Tethirdpartcontainsthecharacteristicsandanalysisofthedeterminants
ofinnovativeprocessesintourism.Itbeginswiththecharacteristicsofthe
anthropogenicdeterminantsofinnovationandanalyses,inparticular,theroleof
humanresourcesandcreativityindevelopinginnovations.Inthispart,attention
isalsopaidtothediversityofconditionsforcooperationandpartnershipfor
innovationintourismandtheconditionsresultingfromthedivisionofrolesin
thismarket.Telastissueinthispartconcernsmodellinginnovationmanagement
intourism.
Tefourthpartpresentstheresultsofquestionnairesurveyscarriedout
inPolishtourismenterprises,precededbythecharacteristicsofthemethod-
ologyofthepresentedresearch.Asaresultoftheconductedresearch,asetof
recommendeddirectionsofinnovationmanagementintourismwasprepared
andtheyarepresentedattheendofthispart.Temonographendsthewith
conclusions.
