2.1“‘WhenanyoneoffersanofferingofamealofferingtoYahweh,his
offeringshallbeoffineflour.Heshallpouroilonit,andput
frankincenseonit.2.2HeshallbringittoAaron’ssons,thepriests;and
heshalltakehishandfulofitsfineflour,andofitsoil,withallits
frankincense;andthepriestshallburnitsmemorialonthealtar,
anofferingmadebyfire,ofapleasantaromatoYahweh.2.3That
whichisleftofthemealofferingshallbeAaron’sandhissons’.
ItisamostholythingoftheofferingsofYahwehmadebyfire.
2.4“‘Whenyouofferanofferingofamealofferingbakedintheoven,
itshallbeunleavenedcakesoffineflourmixedwithoil,orunleavened
wafersanointedwithoil.2.5Ifyourofferingisamealofferingofthe
griddle,itshallbeofunleavenedfineflour,mixedwithoil.2.6You
shallcutitinpieces,andpouroilonit.Itisamealoffering.2.7Ifyour
offeringisamealofferingofthepan,itshallbemadeoffineflour
withoil.2.8Youshallbringthemealofferingthatismadeofthese
thingstoYahweh:anditshallbepresentedtothepriest,andheshall
bringittothealtar.2.9Thepriestshalltakefromthemealofferingits
memorial,andshallburnitonthealtar,anofferingmadebyfire,
ofapleasantaromatoYahweh.2.10Thatwhichisleftofthemeal
offeringshallbeAaron’sandhissons’.Itisathingmostholyofthe
offeringsofYahwehmadebyfire.
2.11“‘Nomealoffering,whichyoushalloffertoYahweh,shallbemade
withyeast;foryoushallburnnoyeast,noranyhoney,asanoffering
madebyfiretoYahweh.2.12Asanofferingoffirstfruitsyoushalloffer
themtoYahweh:buttheyshallnotriseupforapleasantaromaonthe
altar.2.13Everyofferingofyourmealofferingyoushallseasonwith
salt.YoushallnotallowthesaltofthecovenantofyourGod[The
Hebrewwordrendered“God”is“א
ם”(Elohim).]tobelacking

2.14“‘IfyouofferamealofferingoffirstfruitstoYahweh,youshall
offerforthemealofferingofyourfirstfruitsgrainintheearparched
withfire,bruisedgrainofthefreshear.2.15Youshallputoilonit,and
layfrankincenseonit:itisamealoffering.2.16Thepriestshallburn
asitsmemorial,partofitsbruisedgrain,andpartofitsoil,alongwith
allitsfrankincense:itisanofferingmadebyfiretoYahweh.
