myblessingonyouinthesixthyear,anditshallbearfruitforthethree
years.25.22Youshallsowtheeighthyear,andeatofthefruits,theold
store;untiltheninthyear,untilitsfruitscomein,youshalleattheold
store.
25.23“‘Thelandshallnotbesoldinperpetuity,forthelandismine;for
youarestrangersandliveasforeignerswithme.25.24Inalltheland
ofyourpossessionyoushallgrantaredemptionfortheland.
25.25“‘Ifyourbrotherbecomespoor,andsellssomeofhispossessions,
thenhiskinsmanwhoisnexttohimshallcome,andredeemthatwhich
hisbrotherhassold.25.26Ifamanhasnoonetoredeemit,and
hebecomesprosperousandfindssufficientmeanstoredeemit;25.27
thenlethimreckontheyearssinceitssale,andrestorethesurplus
tothemantowhomhesoldit;andheshallreturntohisproperty.25.28
Butifheisn’tabletogetitbackforhimself,thenwhathehassold
shallremaininthehandofhimwhohasboughtituntiltheYear
ofJubilee:andintheJubileeitshallbereleased,andheshallreturn
tohisproperty.
25.29“‘Ifamansellsadwellinghouseinawalledcity,thenhemay
redeemitwithinawholeyearafterithasbeensold.Forafullyear
heshallhavetherightofredemption.25.30Ifitisn’tredeemedwithin
thespaceofafullyear,thenthehousethatisinthewalledcityshall
bemadesureinperpetuitytohimwhoboughtit,throughouthis
generations.ItshallnotbereleasedintheJubilee.25.31Butthehouses
ofthevillageswhichhavenowallaroundthemshallbeaccountedfor
withthefieldsofthecountry:theymayberedeemed,andtheyshall
bereleasedintheJubilee.
25.32“‘NeverthelessthecitiesoftheLevites,thehousesinthecities
oftheirpossession,theLevitesmayredeematanytime.25.33The
Levitesmayredeemthehousethatwassold,andthecityofhis
possession,anditshallbereleasedintheJubilee;forthehousesofthe
citiesoftheLevitesaretheirpossessionamongthechildrenofIsrael.
25.34Butthefieldofthesuburbsoftheircitiesmaynotbesold;for
itistheirperpetualpossession.
25.35“‘Ifyourbrotherhasbecomepoor,andhishandcan’tsupport
